A useful answer often ends with something you must do. Copying it into a separate task manager loses the reason, person, project, and due date that made it meaningful. Frey’s task capture accepts that context with the commitment, then places one concise proposal in your review flow.

• MCP task capture — an MCP client can call Frey’s frey_capture tool after you explicitly ask it to save, track, remember, or add something.
• Agent and LLM capture — your personal capture key works with any LLM or automation that can send an authenticated HTTP request.
• Useful context retained — send the task with a person, project, due date, source URL, and short reason.
• Documents kept separate — longer Markdown material can enter your private Documents record without pretending to be a task.

Review first, always

Captured tasks begin as proposals. You accept or dismiss them in Frey before they become active commitments. That boundary keeps an over-enthusiastic model, repeated call, or misunderstood conversation from silently changing your day.

• Deduplicated — repeated calls do not create a stack of identical open commitments.
• Capture-only access — the personal key can submit work but cannot read your Frey account.
• Revocable — rotate the key at any time to invalidate the previous one.
