Frey · Terms
The agreement between you and Frey.
Last updated 12 June 2026 · Frey is a product of Freydom UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G., Frankfurt am Main. Questions: info@freydom.app.
1 · Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Frey, the digital executive assistant operated by Freydom UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G., Frankfurt am Main, Germany (“Freydom”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, connecting a calendar or mailbox, or otherwise using Frey, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Frey on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company to these Terms.
2 · What Frey is
Frey reads the calendars and inboxes you connect (Google and Microsoft) and helps you stay on top of them. It produces a morning brief, a short prep dossier before meetings, an organised register of documents and reading, and a view of the people you work with most. Frey can also draft an email to your Drafts folder or add a time-block to your calendar when you explicitly ask it to. Frey is an assistive tool: it surfaces, summarises, and suggests. You decide what to act on. The features available may change as the product develops, and during the pilot some features are preliminary.
3 · Third-party services
Frey connects to services you already use, including Google (Calendar, Gmail) and Microsoft (Outlook, Microsoft 365). Your use of those services remains governed by your agreements with Google and Microsoft, and you are responsible for keeping your access to them in good standing. We access only the data needed to provide the features described above, and only with the permissions you grant. You can disconnect any connected account at any time, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens. Frey also relies on infrastructure and processing partners (for example, payment, email delivery, model, and hosting providers). How your data is handled by these partners is described in our Privacy & data handling page.
4 · Subscription and billing
Frey is a paid subscription. The standard plans are EUR 20 per month or EUR 51 per quarter (a 15 % saving versus monthly), with prices stated inclusive of any applicable VAT unless noted otherwise at checkout.
- During the current pilot, Frey is offered free of charge. We will give you clear notice before any paid plan begins, and you will never be charged without first choosing a plan.
- Once you start a paid plan, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or quarterly) until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and does not renew. We do not charge an early-cancellation fee.
- Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
- Statutory withdrawal rights for consumers under German and EU law are unaffected by these Terms.
5 · Acceptable use
You agree to use Frey lawfully and reasonably. In particular, you agree not to:
- use Frey for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of the terms of Google, Microsoft, or any other connected service;
- attempt to probe, abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the service, its rate limits, or its security;
- use Frey to process data you have no right to access, or to infringe the rights or privacy of others;
- misuse the AI, for example to generate unlawful content or to attempt to extract another user's data.
6 · AI output is assistive
Frey uses automated language models to read, summarise, and draft. This is helpful but not infallible. Briefs, prep notes, suggested holds, proposed events, and draft emails may be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. Frey does not send email, delete, label, or move anything on its own, and it adds calendar holds only when you ask. You remain the decision-maker: review every suggestion, hold, and draft before you rely on it, send it, or act on it. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that Frey's output is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
7 · Intellectual property
Frey, including its software, design, brand, and content we create, is owned by Freydom and its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Frey for its intended purpose while your subscription is active. Your own data, and the data in your connected accounts, remain yours. You grant us only the limited right to process that data as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy & data handling page. We do not use your email or calendar content to train any model of our own.
8 · Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Frey is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, or under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). For the breach of an essential contractual obligation (a duty whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may reasonably rely), our liability for slight negligence is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Any further liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limitations apply equally to the personal liability of our employees, representatives, and agents.

9 · Data protection
We handle your personal data in line with the DSGVO/GDPR. What Frey accesses, how it is stored, who processes it, and your rights are set out in full in our Privacy & data handling page, which forms part of your relationship with us. The data controller is Freydom UG (haftungsbeschränkt) i.G.
10 · Termination
You can stop using Frey at any time by cancelling your subscription and disconnecting your accounts, and you can delete your account and data entirely (see the Privacy & data handling page, or contact info@freydom.app). We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give you reasonable notice where practicable. On termination, your right to use Frey ends, and we delete your data as described in the Privacy & data handling page.
11 · Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. If we make a material change, we will give you reasonable notice (for example, by email or in the app) before it takes effect. Continuing to use Frey after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel and stop using the service.
12 · Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Where you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for any dispute arising from these Terms is Frankfurt am Main. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
